South Australia's Most Experienced Strawbale Builder
Lance, his wife Gae and their daughter Lydia, live on 10 acres of land at Currency Creek, SA. They have a genuine concern for the environment and the sustainable use of the land. This has led them to build their own strawbale home using recycled and reclaimed building materials and to be self reliant in their energy needs by using solar power, a composting toilet and a grey water reed bed system. They also provide all their water needs by harvesting rainwater.

Lance will be at the Sustainable Sunraysia Festival (Mildura) on the 17th March
Visit the Food Forest at Gawler on Sunday 25th March for a strawbale information session. Look at strawbale buildings and hear Lance and other strawbale practitioners talk about building with strawbales. (bookings not necessary) Starts at 10am-1pm.
Next workshop will be on June 16th and 17th in conjunction with the Food Forest at Gawler.
